Just in case you wanted to know.

I suppose the same legislators will also vote against HB 228 on Third Reading in Senate and House tomorrow.

Then HB 228 will go to the Governor for his signature. The indications are that Governor Schweitzer will sign HB 228 with no objections. Heck, he even said he’d also support “Alaska carry” if that came to his desk. Still, it wouldn’t be amiss to send him a polite message of encouragement, something like “We hear you are agreeable to signing HB 228 as is. Thanks for your support of this important bill.”

You can send an electronic message via this Web form:
http://governor.mt.gov/contact/commentsform.asp

or you can call the Governor’s office at 406-444-3111 and leave a short message.

Thanks for all your support with HB 228!!!! All of you who have been steadily and reliably sending messages when I’ve asked have made a huge difference. Legislators report that there is no other issue before the Legislature this session about which they’ve received more messages, almost exclusively in support of HB 228.
