<description>I have hunted in Wyoming in area 51,52,81, &amp;82.

Predation hunts to help keep cow elk under control are gone. Down from 400 plus when we first started. The elk are gone as well.

We hunted area 82 last year and for the first time in 15 years didn&#039;t get an elk amoungst a group of 4 hunters that have always got at least 2-3 elk every year. I definetely feel that area 51 and 52 are affected by the wolves. We have seen it first hand in the winter. It is possible that 81 and 82 may have other factors, grizzly bear etc, but regardless, I hope something is done.

I just recieved notice that I didn&#039;t get drawn in area 82 for early cow elk. Typically this area has left over tags that never get purchased. This now tells me that this number was reduced yet again and now another area will be lost. I can only imagine the amount of revenue lost from not having elk permits. I absolutely know that it is in the millions of dollars.

I hope that Wyoming, Idaho, and Montana get their act together to do something for these animals. The wolves do not attack just the weak, they go for anything that moves.
